What is Skolea?
Skolea is a French online learning platform (LMS) for companies and training providers. It brings together the features of the market’s big platforms (learning paths, SCORM content, quizzes, reports, certificates) in an interface designed to be simple to use, for learners and teams alike.
Do our teams need training to use Skolea?
Skolea is designed to be picked up quickly: each screen is for one task, creating a learning path is guided step by step, and a help centre tailored to each profile is built into the platform. Preview mode lets you test everything before publishing.
Will our existing SCORM modules work?
Yes. Skolea plays SCORM 1.2 and 2004 modules, for example those built with Articulate Storyline, as well as videos and PDFs. Time spent, scores and actual progress within each module are tracked.
Can you create quizzes in Skolea?
Yes, with no outside tool: multiple choice, matching, fill in the blanks, image and slider questions, with the learner’s confidence level, adjustable marking and detailed results. The best score can be shown on the certificate of completion.
How does Skolea keep learners motivated?
With clear learning paths where progress is always in view, built-in gamification (levels, badges, streaks, group leaderboard) and automatic email reminders when a course is on hold or a due date is approaching.
Does Skolea issue certificates?
Yes. At the end of a learning path, the certificate of completion and the certificate of attendance required by French funding bodies (OPCO, CPF) are generated in your colours. A certificate of achievement, verifiable online by QR code, can also be issued based on the score.
Does Skolea help you prepare for a Qualiopi audit?
Yes. Electronic attendance sign-off, end-of-course and follow-up evaluations, progress tracking and certificates are produced and filed automatically, with a complete record for each learner. Qualiopi is the French quality certification for training providers; Skolea doesn’t award it, but it helps you present your supporting documents.
What does the AI assistant do?
It answers your team’s questions about training in everyday language: learners behind schedule, quiz results, activity, what a learning path contains. It reads the data without being able to change anything, and people’s names are never sent to the AI service.
Can our learners take their courses on a phone?
Yes. The learner area works on computer, tablet and smartphone, with no app to install. Skolea follows an accessibility approach based on the RGAA, the French accessibility standard derived from WCAG (keyboard navigation, screen readers).
Is Skolea multilingual?
Yes. Each user chooses their language, currently English or French: the interface, emails and certificates follow. The translations are written for each language, not word for word.
Can people sign in with Microsoft 365 or Google?
Yes. Skolea offers single sign-on (SSO) with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0 identity providers.
Are data and content protected?
Yes. Courses only open for enrolled learners, intrusion attempts are blocked automatically, each role only accesses its own scope, and GDPR tools are built in (export, erasure, retention periods).
How is pricing set?
On quote, based on your set-up: a shared or dedicated server for one company, or the Enterprise plan for several companies. You receive the quote after the demo.
